- What is an
evacuation zone?
- The lowest level is Zone A, the
highest
being Zone C.
If you are in Zone A, then you are in the lowest level.
Zone B includes
Zone A, and Zone C include Zone B and Zone C.
- How do
I find out what evacuation zone I am in?
- When you start the Public Safety
WebGIS
application, you can click on the address locator.
- Next, at the bottom of the screen, you
would type
in your address. For example, "10 Bayou Dr" and press the
Locate button
- You will be presented with a list of
possible
matches (1).
Pick your address, and your zone will be displayed (2).
The WebGIS map will also zoom to your location, showing you a
visual representation (3).
